Scope

The goal of this project was to develop an internal Human Resource Management System (HRMS) integrated with an appraisal management feature for use within the company.

Process

Stakeholder Interviews: Interview HR professionals, department heads, and key decision-makers to gather insights on current HR processes, pain points, and objectives for the new system.
Employee Surveys: Collect feedback from employees to understand their needs, especially in areas like leave management, payroll, performance tracking, and self-service features.

Benchmarking: Evaluate existing HRMS solutions to identify common features, strengths, and weaknesses, focusing on systems used by similar companies.
Gap Analysis: Compare the organization’s current HR processes with top HRMS platforms to pinpoint gaps and improvement opportunities.

Employee-Centric Design: Focus on how employees and HR teams interact with HRMS platforms, emphasizing ease of use, intuitive interfaces, and mobile compatibility.
Task Flow Optimization: Identify and streamline key workflows like performance reviews, leave requests, and benefits management to enhance efficiency.

Prototype Testing: Develop a prototype or MVP for internal testing with HR teams and selected employees. Gather feedback to refine the system before full-scale implementation.
Iterative Improvement: Continuously improve the system based on user feedback to address pain points and enhance the overall experience.
